SEO Audit - Nike and Under Armour

Introduction

SEO is an important consideration for marketers because it can help you business grow, users trust the top positions for the keywords they are using, and so SEO is important because it can create trust between you and the customer. In addition, SEO can also create social promotion, as companies are using more social media platforms, this allows companies to promote their brand on multiple platforms to create more traffic to their pages.

Provide Insights.  Include one to two sentences in your own words that outlines the topic and the two brands you compared.  Discuss the results you obtained from Google Trends.  What observations can you make about the search interest in this topic over the past 12 months?
-The two brands are Nike and Under Armour the topic is sneakers. From looking at the data Nike is a lot popular then the Under Armour and sneakers interests, the data however for Nike and Under Armour show similar patterns at the same time.

Latent Semantic Indexing Keywords:

Generate a list of LSI keywords from the LSIGraph Keyword Generator.  Search your sites and identify any LSI Keywords that you can find on either of your brands’ sites.  Target at least 3 per brand.
-Nike LSI keywords: Nike Shoes, Nike Outlet, Nike Logo, Nike Air Jordan’s, Nike Basketball Shoes. 

- Under Armour LSI keywords: Under Armour Shoes, Under Armour Cleats, and Under Armour  Store.

 Summary:

Brand A’s strengths are that they are a business that is known throughout the world, creating more brand awareness when it comes to their products.
Brand B’s strengths are that they are signing more and more contracts with big time athletes who are wearing their product as seen on their website.
Areas that need improvement are the keyword sneakers under the sports equipment category.
The keyword sentences found on the sites are: Men, Women, Boys, Girls, Shoes, and Clothing.

  Conclusion:

Through researching this audit I learned that Nike has the strongest brand SEO out of my two topics, Under Armour however, was not to far behind. There was no surprise that Nike was going to have the strongest SEO, as they are a well-known brand throughout the world.
